    Description

    This funeral fan has a color image of a mill. It's from the Mackie-Hinshaw-Gentry Inc Funeral Home in Yadkinville, North Carolina.  There's a 1957 copyright and the name Sheer in tiny print below the Lord's Prayer on the back. I learned on the website of Davie Funeral home, the company's present day successor that Grady Mackie and Carl Gentry, Jr. bought the business from Hurley Hinshaw in 1963. They moved it and renamed it Mackie-Gentry Funeral Home and Chapel. I'm not sure when it was called by all three names, maybe just before or after the purchase. The fan has some edgewear
    and a crease at the upper right.
